Protest Music of the 60’s and 70’s"
This following video was an 8th grade history fair project by Kyle, with technical assistance from his aunt, Elizabeth Lowrey. He won 1st place at his school, Avalon Middle, in the individual documentary category; first in Santa Rosa County; and was also awarded the 2005 Pensacola Jazz Society’s History Through Music Award.
This song, “Kind Like Kyle”, was written and performed by Casey Kearney as a Christmas gift from Kyle’s father to Kyle’s mother 2021 please listen!
